Hi there, folks! I thought I'd continue the tribute to all of the snow this week in Bloodville, and review another novel that deals with the elements - Icebound!
Quick plot synopsis: A group of scientists get stuck out in a major snowstorm, and also have to deal with deadly issues among their group! Sounds exciting, huh?
This book is different from the usual Dean Koontz book. It's more of an adventure novel than anything else, but it's a lot of fun. It's a good, quick read, as most of his earlier novels are. If you are a fan of any of Koontz's work, I definitely recommend this one! And don't be put off by the fact that it's not really a horror book per se. It's still a great read!
I give this one 4 out of 5 Skulls (they're not really bloody this time)!
