COVER OF THE DAY #3 - BLIZZARD EDITION!

In honor of the bizzard of 2010 today, I thought I'd show a cool (aren't they all) Doc Savage cover, with Doc himself facing off against a polar bear - and a pretty gigantic one, to boot! I have to admit, I haven't read many of the Doc Savage books, and from what I have read, the writing isn't exactly the greatest, but the books are worth the price just for the cool covers! Enjoy, and drive safe! Hell, take the day off if you can and if you work for bastards that don't close down for the day!

Oh my goodness, weren't the 70s great? At least for cool comic covers, they definitely were! I didn't even realize until a few years ago that all of these cool things existed - who knew Marvel Comics produced such awesome horror magazines? Not only do you get a great shot of Frankenstein, but there's a creepy guy playing with hot coals who looks like he's up to no good, plus a cute girl chained to the wall! Really, what's better than all that?

How can you go wrong with a mummy struggling to break free of chains while underwater? You can't! I know I'm getting old when I say things like this, but they just don't make comics like they used to. Oh, well - luckily we have lots of resources these days to find all of the great stuff we need!
